Penki is an iPad/iPhone application which allows you to choose your text which is then converted into a timed sequence of shapes that extrude 3D light forms when you move your iPhone across a long exposure in front of your DSLR. The huge variables such as the angle of the iPhone to camera, exposure time, ambient light, distance, focus etc etc mean that this is not the easiest app to use, as you can tell from my first attempts below… (Set at f16 for 4s, ISO100)
But it IS fun, so try it!
